The New England Marionettes are coming home to Peterborough
for the Autumn and Christmas seasons. Following their much heralded success at the 1998 Boston
Summer Opera Festival, the New England Marionettes will return to their home theatre this fall
with the production which took Boston by storm- Rossini's "The Barber of Seville."
"So unusual, they are just like real people." A New England Family Holiday Tradition will continue, starting the Saturday after Thanksgiving as the New England Marionettes pull the curtain on the ever-popular "Amahl and the Night Visitors." For many New Englanders, the touching story of a little shepherd boy and his encounter with the three kings is a wonderful and still affordable part of the holiday season. And once again, the theatre will add a special holiday bonus at the conclusion of each performance. |
